The wait is almost over: ‘LA MADRUGÁ’ is closer than ever, and with the release of ‘Still Luvin’, the second preview of Delaossa’s long-awaited album, the excitement is skyrocketing. This song is a reflection of a deep friendship between Delaossa and Quevedo. A palpable chemistry that goes beyond music, with Quevedo expressing on multiple occasions his desire to share a track with the Malagueño. And what better way to do so than in the context of ‘LA MADRUGÁ’.
If you have passed through Moncloa station in Madrid in the last few days, you will surely have seen that phrase written by Delaossa, accompanied by a countdown that has created great expectation. And today, the mystery is solved: that number marked the first verse of ‘Still Luvin’ interpreted by Quevedo: ‘I never read this message, I lost it among so much text, I’m sorry for having taken 3 months, 10 days and 6 hours to answer’.
And the counter keeps adding days since the release of ‘Nueva Season’, a track that marked a before and after in Delaossa’s career, which already exceeds one million streams and represents the beginning of a new stage both personally and professionally for the artist.
In this new release, ‘Still Luvin’ delves into the realm of post-breakup love. The song captures that emotional state where affection lingers, where memories are still alive in every corner of everyday life. The lyrics, direct and full of feeling, become a magnet for the listener, keeping them hooked until the very last second.
In charge of bringing this piece to life is Bigla, the album’s main producer and one of the fundamental pillars in the creation of this project. As Delaossa has repeatedly said: ‘without Bigla there would be no album’. Bigla has been the architect of a unique sound, introducing instruments such as double basses, organs and violins to give a new dimension to the musical proposal. It was he who, with his vision, invited Quevedo to join this sonic journey, adding his verse to the mix. Later, Delaossa completed his part and thus closed the production of ‘Still Luvin’.
The music video, shot in the Pyrenees, takes the three artists, Delaossa, Quevedo and Bigla, to an isolated house in the middle of the mountains, where the cold and the snow are the protagonists of the landscape. Along the way, a sign with the inscription ‘Welcome to “LA MADRUGÁ”’ confirms what many suspected: ‘Still Luvin’ is the last preview before the arrival of one of the most awaited albums of the year. Throughout the video, you can see the songwriting process between the three of them in the home studio.
