Desigual x Tyler McGillivary: floral fantasy and cartoon aesthetic in Y2K style

The New York-based designer—known for her playful imagery and nods to digital art—brings her visual universe back to the Spanish brand, elevating its aesthetic with a collaboration that won’t go unnoticed.

The collection revolves around a concept as classic as it is transformative: the language of flowers. But there’s no trace of clichéd romanticism here. McGillivary reinterprets nature through a pop-surrealist filter, where petals become psychedelic prints, three-dimensional volumes, and details that seem to animate on the skin.

Y2K energy seeps between the seams: stretch tops, bold graphic tees, comfortable twist pants, and accessories that play with touch. The bags and sandals, meanwhile, take the playful mood to the next level thanks to their 3D floral textures, as if they’ve just emerged from a render.

Each piece exudes that blend of carefree femininity and creative freedom that defines both Desigual and McGillivary’s personal touch. And yes, the DNA of the ’90s and early 2000s is present, but updated with a conscious approach: sustainable production and a true respect for nature.

Desigual once again teams up with Tyler McGillivary in a second capsule now available online and in stores.

Desigual selects Ester Expósito as its Desigual ambassador.
