DIESEL❤VES TIMBERLAND is the second chapter of DIESEL❤VES, a groundbreaking initiative that invites traditionally rival brands to come together to share materials, manufacturing processes and creative resources. Launching in December 2023, this project features a bold collaboration between Diesel and Timberland, two names that not only dominate their respective industries, but also share a common commitment to sustainability and innovation.

The first installment of this collaboration, DIESEL❤VES TIMBERLAND, debuted in March 2024 with a disruptive approach that seeks to address one of the most persistent problems in fashion: overproduction. Diesel, a denim icon, and Timberland, known for its heritage in craftsmanship and functional design, meet at the perfect intersection of heritage and pop culture. Together, the two brands fuse their shared values of quality, authenticity and community in a capsule that reimagines the use of recycled materials.

The collection includes a series of shirts available in six colours, all made from unsold stock from both brands. Each garment is a hybrid work: the front of the shirt is made from Diesel denim, while the back features Timberland’s iconic check flannel print, or vice versa. It’s the perfect combination of two worlds, marrying the rugged style of Timberland with the irreverence of Diesel denim.

With DIESEL❤VES TIMBERLAND, both brands not only seek to merge the best of their universes, but also to be an active part of change in the fashion industry, contributing to a more conscious and collaborative future. ‘Small actions can create big transformations,’ says Glenn Martens, Diesel creative director and creator of the DIESEL❤VES programme, ’This is the next step in a project that joins forces to challenge overconsumption by creating something meaningful, beautiful and, above all, sustainable.’

For each collection, Diesel will make its unsold inventory available to a joint creative team and invite a partner brand to do the same. The result is a limited-edition capsule made entirely from existing materials, an equal collaboration between the two brands. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency through the OTB Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Diesel’s parent company, which works with UNHCR on various projects in different parts of the world.

The limited edition capsule is available now, both in selected Diesel and Timberland shops and on the official websites of both brands.
