Diesel partners with Tom of Finland Foundation for third annual Pride collaboration

A multi-faceted project that includes a capsule collection, a competition for emerging erotic artists and a series of global events.

For Pride 2024, Diesel and the Tom of Finland Foundation are embarking on a joint venture that will take place in Berlin‘s legendary Halle am Berghain with a programme of exhibitions and performances that will also reach Fire Island (New York), Helsinki, Tokyo and culminate in Los Angeles later this year.

Featuring a capsule collection that amplifies the message of freedom of expression, sexuality and individualism that Diesel has always promoted, the collaboration celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community through the art of Stuart Sandford, Suzanne Shifflett, Tank, the Hun, Valentine, Henning von Berg and Tom of Finland. In this way, the diverse works have been applied as prints and patchworks across the 24 pieces in the capsule, reflecting important voices from the Tom of Finland Foundation‘s four decades of preserving the work of queer artists.

Each of the garments includes a special canvas ribbon printed with a ribbon from each artist, while the prints are based on a wide range of erotic art styles, such as homoerotic illustrations and comics. All have been designed for all genders and have been conceived as a celebration of the gay and queer community’s indomitable sense of pride.

Diesel‘s collaboration with the Tom of Finland Foundation will be available globally at the end of June at diesel.com and selected physical boutiques. You can pre-order now on the website.
