The innovative vision of Diesel‘s creative director brings to the stage of the transitional season pieces that reflect his incessant working praxis and experimentation with denim, as if it were a fashion laboratory where creative boundaries do not exist.
The art of layering and the cohesive dance of bodycon and oversize silhouettes is once again on display in this collection bathed in water, which once again reflects Martens’ unrelenting love of denim, and the incessant exploration of the material through infinite techniques or practices adapted to the present and the future, such as deconstruction or the worn effect.
Distinctive denim, the cornerstone of Diesel’s identity, builds much of the 64 looks that shape the collection: from midi-length skirts, skinny jeans and cropped jackets to ankle boots, clogs and wide cargo trousers or cropped knitwear. Meanwhile, motocross-inspired jackets make a strong comeback, as do leather shirts, shiny blazers and visible underwear with logo-stamped waistbands.
