Focusing on Dior Men’s younger audience, the creative director has designed a selection of workwear-style denim for this season.
A carefully curated series of exclusive denim wardrobe staples including trousers, overshirts, jackets and even accessories in the form of bucket hats. All of them have been treated with different techniques to achieve unique results in indigo, grey or black, and include utilitarian design details such as darted pockets or carpenter’s stitching. The line is signed with the DIOR logo embossed on leather patches and also present on the lining of the garments.
“I remember when I was young I went through a phase where I wore Vans, jeans and a Stüssy T-shirt every day. Jeans are one of those basics that stay with you all your life and it’s probably the ultimate modern invention for men. It’s a cultural thing,” says Kim Jones himself.
Dior Denim will go on sale on 19 October on dior.com and in selected boutiques worldwide.
