After NY, London and Milan, it’s Paris’ time. What better way to inaugurate the #PFW than with Maria Grazia Chiuri and her proposal for Dior SS19.
The creative director, known and praised for the projection, transgression and rejuvenation of the brand, this time has opted for a return to the origin. Fleeing from novelties, she has been inspired by the old – though always new – Dior and has thrown herself into the exaltation of the female figure.
She opted for tones that go from nude to black and that coexist with a ballet aesthetic. The fabric has been the main protagonist of this collection, tulle or gauze were mixed with drapes and mesh fabrics. An offer of opposites that above all adjusted to the waist.
