Victoire de Castellane, director of Dior Joaillerie since 1999, is pleased to present her most extensive Haute Joaillerie collection to date.
A subtle interlude between yesterday and today that pays tribute to his twenty-six years of career, translated into an exclusive collection that reproduces the iconic toile de Jouy. Victoire de Castellane has thus focused on this dreamy motif, an expression of French art de vivre and a symbol of the 18th century, with the aim of recalling Christian Dior‘s impressive success. When Monsieur Dior furnished his original Colifichets boutique, he decided to cover the walls, counters and even the canopy with this exceptional fabric.
The new Diorama pieces teleport us to the garden of Milly-la-Forêt, as if in a dream, where we discover the flora and fauna of the place through a mesmerising walk: a golden rabbit hops over a diamond-studded bush, two owls flutter among branches adorned with flaming rubies and majestic swans swim in a pool of blue sapphires.
It is then that we enter the second story, entitled Diorigami, where we discover more surprises that come to life in the form of a necklace, ring and earrings, whose elegance enhances this sumptuous selection.
Each and every one of the fine jewels immortalises the expertise and virtuosity of the Dior Ateliers, where the most meticulous techniques such as glyptics, engraving and gemstone sculpture are studied and carried out. The artisans are in charge of carving the elements, fixing them one by one, thus creating an authentic Eden.
