Nickzzy presents today the full-length that condenses everything he has learnt in recent years: his long-awaited LP ‘Ahora no lloro’.
The Bilbao-born artist of Dominican origin has been exploring different genres within urban music since the beginning of his career. Now, he brings together all his twists and mixes in ‘Ahora no lloro’, his first album containing a wide range of shapes, colours and sounds.
A journey that explores drill, trap and even afrobeat or the harder rhythms that reign in cities like Marseille. Nickzzy as the perfect melting pot between his roots and the European urban scene, making it clear that it is possible to mix both trends and that the result can be impeccable.
‘Ahora no lloro’ shows the personal and creative maturity of the artist, who has poured his purest emotions into every line written. A selection of 10 impeccable tracks with outstanding artists of the industry such as Polimá Westcoast, Cano, Juseph, Chucky73 or Rakem; as well as great producers such as Steve Lean, SHB or Saydiq among others.
“This album is for everyone who knows where I come from and trusted me from the beginning. For everyone who has come to identify at some point with my music and lives it the same way I do. And above all, for all my people who started out with me in search of the same dream and who are gradually achieving it,” says the artist.
