Imagined by Pharrell, these new sneakers promise to become an icon for the Maison.
As the fashion house prepares to celebrate its highly anticipated runway show in collaboration with Nigo and fans are still immersed in the imagery proposed with Takashi Murakami, the creative director is pleased to unveil the first images of his latest footwear creation.
To do so, he has used his secondary Instagram account (@skateboard) where he has shared a striking image showing up to 40 different colour combinations of the new ButterSoft, a pair of shoes designed to conquer. The presence of their unmistakable ‘LV’ logo on the midfoot and their inflated structure have awakened an endearing sense of nostalgia when compared to the Ice Cream Boardflip that conquered the 2000s and the iconic Nike Cortez.
Further details and an official release date have not yet been revealed or confirmed, but are expected to be available very soon.
And speaking of Louis Vuitton… This is its first campaign with Lisa as the protagonist.
