Joe Freshgoods teams up with New Balance to create a collection full of trainers and matching apparel that take their cue from the outdoors. An important source of inspiration for the designer since the pandemic.
“I didn’t realise until last year how much the act of being outdoors had played an important role in my career,” Joe Robinson said of the collection. “Sometimes you need to have something taken away from you to realise what it means to you. And that’s really what inspired this shoe.”
Alongside the trainers are several pieces of clothing, including a T-shirt that reads “We Miss When Outside was Outside”, hoodies, sweatpants with floral embroidery with the word “Outside” and a button-up shirt that has more floral artwork on the back.
The full collection will be released through New Balance from 10 September.
