The new NO/FAITH STUDIOS(NFS) collection comes from looking at the breathtaking landscapes surrounding the German Eifel region, one of the country’s largest nature reserves. The German natural paradise serves this season as the cradle for the creation of these unique pieces.
The brand’s trip to a leather factory in Naples resulted in a new camouflage pattern on the pieces in the collection. This design, which bears the hallmark of NFS, is only revealed to those who examine it closely. Along with worn leather, these textures highlight Luis Dobbelgarten‘s mastery of finding subtlety in a brash design.
The garments and details pay homage to the classic, functional workwear of national park rangers. The working-class uniforms that inspire the collection reflect the limited work options of those who grew up in Eifel. Elements such as belts and intentionally disheveled garments convey an illusion of entropy, although in reality they are tailored with supreme care.
As for the color palette, it is infused with natural hues, creating a captivating contrast to the provocative yet seductive aesthetic that characterizes the brand.
This collection also marks a turning point for NFW, officially establishing MODES as its exclusive European distributor. The boutique in the French capital exclusively presented the collection, marking an unprecedented union between an iconic boutique and the emerging brand. The “NATIONALPARK EIFEL” collection is not only an expression of Dobbelgarten’s vision, but also a demonstration that fashion can be much more than just garments; it can be a transformative experience and a manifestation of beauty at its most rugged.
