In keeping with its spirit of travel and discovery, the Maison travelled to the stunning Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore to present its Cruise 2024 Collection.
As if it were a fantasy tale, Louis Vuitton‘s new proposal found its place among marvellous aquatic creatures yearning to discover the terrestrial world. A metaphorical and joyful journey that emerges from the waters and is divided into three distinct acts. The first features a divinely inspired amphibian creature who passes from water to dry land; the second part is told through a mermaid who becomes a woman as soon as she touches the ground. Finally, the red carpet dresses pay homage to the beauty of the mythological being with elevated textures, innovative cuts and supernatural creature motifs.
Framed by Lake Maggiore, Isola Bella became the ideal setting for this narrative of transformation. Here reside the legends of the Borromeo family, guarded by the Palazzo Borromeo that rises above the water and is surrounded by mysterious gardens. An exclusive enclave that, for the first time, witnessed a unique event in history after more than 400 years of family tradition.
Among the attendees we could see recognised faces, ambassadors and friends of the fashion house such as Léa Seydoux, Alicia Vikander, Emma Stone, Cate Blanchett, Jaden Smith or Gemma Chan, among many others.
