An alternative classic from the British brand that makes sense this season under Verdy’s creative vision.

For decades, the Ramsey Creeper has accompanied experimental subcultures such as the Teddy Boys and protest movements such as punk. Now, they are getting ready to celebrate their first collaboration with one of the most impactful streetwear brands in the industry: Girls Don’t Cry.

The project, which was born in Tokyo in 2017, conquered the world thanks to its distinctive graphic designs and its extensive list of renowned collaborators that DM’s joins in a very special meeting with which the designer seeks to pay tribute to his wife.

“This is a very special project for me and especially for my wife, as she used to work at Dr. Martens. I am happy to bring this collaboration to life,” says Verdy.

As such, the new Ramsey has been reimagined in smooth black leather and features a Hair On upper and eyelet eyelets with eyelets. All of this is set on a smoky wedge platform sole with embossed detailing and the British brand’s iconic yellow stitching. The collaboration is further enhanced with engraved ‘Girls Don’t Cry’ detailing and gold heart pendants that can be attached to the laces.
