Dr. Martens transforms its DNA with lucky colours

The Lunar New Year, which begins on January 22nd, is just around the corner and Dr. Martens is joining the trend of celebrating it with a capsule collection.

Using two of their original models as a base – the 1461 shoe and the 1460 boot – the collection changes the iconic signature elements for reddish and golden tones in the welt stitching and the looped heel strap.

This exclusive selection is made from hard-wearing Smooth leather. On the one hand, the 1460 eight-eyelet boot and the 1461 three-eyelet shoe feature D-rings and gold-coloured hardware, tied together with a special gold-coloured commemorative pendant. The shoes stand on a sturdy red sole, while the boots are completed with a contrasting zip with a gold-coloured puller.

The new Dr. Martens ‘Year Of The Rabbit’ collection will go on sale this January through their website and some of their physical shops.
