Drake surprised a woman in the front row of his concert at Kia Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles, with a stylish pink Hermès Birkin 30 handbag that can fetch up to $35,000.
The relationship between the rapper and the iconic Birkin already goes back several years. In 2017, in an interview, he revealed that he was gathering a “vast collection” of these expensive bags for the woman he would end up with.
Following this gesture, hundreds of TikToks began flooding the interwebs showing Drake asking staff to “make sure she was safe on her way out,” before repeatedly exclaiming “Drake ain’t cheap!” to the crowd. This situation also generated a series of tweets from both Drake and Hermès fans insinuating that attending one of the rapper’s concerts might be the only way to own a Birkin.
