If you are one of those who always opt for a discreet French manicure or other minimalist designs, this trend may not be your favorite. But it also wouldn’t be the first time that a seemingly ugly trend appears that we end up liking.

Chaotic flared acrylic “duck nails” are seen again on TikTok following a video by Lizzo, who always shows off her bold designs.

Just the opposite of traditional nails, this style extends from the end of the finger and ends in a tip that is wider than the base. Not many people are daring with them yet, but those who like to embrace the “intentional ugliness” trend are already finding the charm in duck nails.
