Dyson announces its two latest hair care innovations: Dyson Chitosan™, the company’s first line of styling products, whose Dyson Triodetic™ technology delivers flexible, natural-looking hold all day long, and the Airwrap i.d.™ multi-function styler, which integrates Bluetooth technology and two new enhanced attachments. These new launches set a new standard in beauty, fusing cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of modern personal care needs.
Dyson has created its first line of styling products, the Dyson Chitosan™ range of formulas, designed to work with Dyson hair tools. Powered by chitosan, a complex macromolecule derived from oyster mushrooms and engineered with Dyson Triodetic™ technology, the range is the result of over a decade of hair health research. The move into formulations represents a new frontier for Dyson as it moves into ingredient research.
‘Unlike other styling products that use simple polymers that work like glue to bind strands of hair together, Dyson’s formulas are distinguished by their different approach. By including chitosan, a complex macromolecule, in its formulas, Dyson facilitates the formation of flexible bonds that hold each strand individually, doubling the hold without compromising the hair’s movement and shine,’ says James Dyson, Founder and Chief Engineer.
The Dyson Chitosan™ styling range differentiates itself by addressing the problems presented by other lines that use simple polymers and create rigid bonds in the hair. Dyson Chitosan™ offers flexible hold that lasts all day¹, with movement and shine, without weighing hair down. It is suitable for all hair types, even high humidity².
The Dyson Airwrap i.d.™ multifunction styler with new attachments will be available from the last quarter of the year in two colour ranges: Ceramic Patina and Topaz or Vinca Blue and Topaz priced from €549. The full range of Dyson Chitosan styling products will be available after the summer. Both the Styling Cream and Serum will be priced at €59 and €54 for the refill.
