EE72 is the first Genius collection designed by the iconic editor and stylist.
Moncler ventures into new territory with a proposal that fuses its technical spirit with Enninful‘s cultural vision, thus creating the uniform of a contemporary adventurer who traverses scorching dunes, battered coastlines and snow-capped peaks with relentless style.
A key figure in the fashion industry for more than three decades, Edward has redefined the publishing landscape through a narrative that has always championed diversity and progress. From his time at i-D and British Vogue to the creation of his own global platform EE72, his work has elevated marginalised voices and transformed the way fashion engages with culture. Now, together with Moncler, he is making his foray into design.
‘Working with Moncler has allowed me to push the boundaries of my creativity. With this collection, I wanted to combine the brand’s codes with my own vision, imagining a new extreme world with a glamorous hero at its centre,’ he says.
The collection is built around three extreme scenarios. On one hand, there are windstorms, which inspire technical trench coats with detachable down, quilted hoods that tie like scarves, and futuristic goggles. Secondly, sandstorms give rise to fitted neoprene, sculptural capes and enveloping silhouettes that reimagine Moncler‘s puffy heritage. Snowstorms, ultimately, motivate the technique of wool knit layering, oversized jackets and the new Tailgrip EE7 boots.
It should be noted that each piece is modular, adaptable and monochrome – in absolute black, the creator’s hallmark – accompanied by accessories that complete the journey of this extreme global hero.
