The Swedish designer, founder of her brand HODAKOVA, received the prestigious award through Natalie Portman.
Seven talented finalists gathered today at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris for the final gala of the LVMH Prize 2024, one of the most important awards in the international fashion industry. And among them, one profile stood out above all others, that of Ellen Hodakova, the Swedish designer who established her brand in 2021 and who only three years later has managed to position herself in the market thanks to her utilitarian designs and the use of reused materials in her original proposals.
As well as gaining even more renown, she has received a €400,000 scholarship and a year’s mentoring from the LVMH team to continue to drive her brand forward. Excited, she thanked her team and family for their unconditional support as she posed with the acclaimed Hollywood actress who presented her with the award.
Among those attending the ceremony were Pharrell Williams, Phoebe Philo, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Jonathan Anderson, Nigo, Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs, Kim Jones and Stella McCartney, among many others.
