The Hollywood awards season continues and last night it was the turn of the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, whose winners have now been announced. The event took place at the Peacock Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, with Nate Bargatze as host.

The big star of the night was Severance, which arrived with 27 nominations and confirmed its position as one of the most influential series of the moment. Very close behind was The Penguin, with 24 mentions, consolidating the strength of productions derived from the DC universe on television.

Another highlight was The Studio, the Apple TV+ comedy led by Seth Rogen, which not only debuted with 23 nominations but also matched the record set by The Bear in 2024 as the most recognised first-year comedy series.
