Emphasising the corruption behind generational wealth, ERL cinematically explores the emergence of trust fund babies in the 1970s.

This argument is materialised in a collection divided into three acts, ranging from the opulent beginnings of the West to today’s profligate inheritance. Workwear, pieces inspired by the hippie movement and garments that emulate the luxury of Wall Street.

It is important to note a higher level of development in womenswear in both elegant designs such as evening gowns, sequinned dresses or floral ensembles composed of tops and mini-skirts.

“The story begins on the Oregon Trail, where the family strikes gold and strikes it rich. Their descendants, in 1970s San Francisco, squander their trust funds and end up as investment bankers during the real estate crisis and later become Wall Street anarchists,” says the designer himself.
