Etnia Barcelona, the independent eyewear brand, launches Chroma, a new premium collection that redefines the limits of colour and shape with a sophisticated and exuberant explosion of colours and contrasts. Each piece, created with meticulous detail and a passion for innovation and design, stands out for its play of contrasts: bold geometric shapes, pronounced volumes and extreme colours.

The FW24 collection includes 14 women’s and men’s eyewear models dominated by mainly feminine cat-eye shapes and milky, transparent and solid-coloured acetates that create an elegant contrast. Among other details, the innovation of the raw finish of the Chroma models stands out, achieving distinctive marks on each pair of glasses that give them a unique character and highlight their singularity. In addition, the inside of the temple is engraved with the logo, with colour variations in each model, adding a personalised touch.

14 models dominated by colour and volume

For the launch of Chroma and its first FW24 collection, Etnia Barcelona invites us to experience colour in a completely new way. The campaign, which bears the same name as the collection, immerses us in the beauty of colour and takes us on a journey through the emotional depth it can evoke, inviting us to explore new dimensions through colour.

The images recreate different universes that, like the collection itself, play with contrasts of colour, shapes and textures. Each scenario is represented by a colour: red, orange, pink and blue. A testimony to how colour can transform, elevate and define our perception of the world around us.

Chroma under the gaze of photographer Zhong Lin

For the Chroma campaign, Etnia Barcelona has collaborated with renowned photographer Zhong Lin. Known for her unique ability to recreate universes that blur the boundaries of the real and the abstract, Lin has captured her personal vision of colour, leading us to explore new worlds through her lens. A campaign that leads us to a profound reflection on the emotional impact that colour evokes in us.
