An unprecedented luxury experience with the aim of enjoying CamelPhat live at Playa Pacha, FIVE LUXE.
On 11 April we landed in the capital of the UAE without knowing what we were about to witness. We had a brief idea, yes, but the reality exceeded all possible expectations. Straight from Dubai airport, we arrived at the extraordinary FIVE LUXE, a luxury resort located at Jumeirah Beach Residences that redefines contemporary exclusivity on the Arabian Gulf coast. With a strategic location and majestic facilities, it has direct access to the beach and is close to iconic attractions such as the Ain Dubai, an iconic landmark of the city.
A total of 222 rooms and suites designed in neutral colours and finished in wood and natural stone, with unique views of the Arabian Sea. Its extensive gastronomic offer has six restaurants and bars, including the Japanese Ronin or the Paradiso Dubai cocktail bar.
But the jewel in the crown is none other than Playa Pacha. With its Ibizan soul perfectly transposed to the coast of Dubai, it stands as the perfect stage to welcome the most acclaimed DJs from all over the world (Marco Carola, Adam Port & Rampa from Keinemusik, Joseph Capriati, Black Coffee…). And we were there to enjoy CamelPhat, the iconic Grammy-nominated British duo responsible for reshaping melodic house and techno for the new generations.
In this way, Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala landed in this unique space of the FIVE LUXE as an appetizer of their highly anticipated 2025 residency at Pacha Ibiza, which will start on May 20th and will run until October 7th, every Tuesday. A real sensory journey motivated by progressive beats, precise drops, hypnotic melodies and an audience that was carried away until the last moment -including us-.

FIVE Palm Jumeirah: where day turns to night (and vice versa)
To complete the second leg of the trip we move on to the world’s most famous man-made island: Palm Jumeirah. This resort stands out for its imposing contemporary architecture, with an infinity pool and a private beach for its guests. Without a doubt, FIVE Palm Jumeirah has become the epicentre of the city’s nightlife. And two of its spaces confirm this: The Penthouse Dubai and Bohemia Beach Club.
The first space, which we at H. have already discussed on occasion, is one of the most sophisticated enclaves in Dubai. From being a sophisticated rooftop where you can enjoy the sunset, to a club with a rave soul once the sun goes down. It’s no coincidence that DJ Mag has ranked it as the best rooftoop in the Middle East, or that names like French Montana, Robin Schulz or Lost Frequencies have previously taken over its booth. Beachfront, equipped with state-of-the-art sun loungers, a glass infinity pool and a boho-chic ambience, this club rewrites the rules of laid-back luxury. The ‘Bohemia Presents’ experience has led to it being named Best Beach Club at the BBC Good Food Middle East Awards in 2023, and will soon welcome the world’s best DJs such as Diplo on 19 April, Ben Sterling b2b Miguelle & Tons on 26 April, Sonny Fodera on 3 May, Defected on 10 May and Sarah Story on 17 May.
