That Tarantino will retire after the release of his tenth film has been known for some time. He has said so himself on several occasions, maintaining his idea that the lifespan of filmmakers is limited. Now, we discover the first details of his next and final film entitled ‘The Movie Critic’.
Earlier this week the Hollywood Reporter, the magazine specialising in cinematography, announced the title of the next feature film by the great Tarantino: ‘The Movie Critic’. The truth is that most of the details about the production are unknown, but what is known is that the story will be set in the city of Los Angeles in the 70s, returning to the setting of ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’.
Rumours suggest that it will star a female character, and it could be Pauline Kael, considered one of the most influential and controversial film critics in history. Her activity also dates back to the 1970s, so this option could be very feasible.
No details have been revealed about the cast, but we are convinced that it will be full of big stars of the industry, including some of the director’s main fetish actors. The release date is also unknown, but we do know that filming will begin in autumn this year. Sorry dear film buff…. We’ll have to wait.
And speaking of the seventh art… These are the HIGHXTAR team’s favourite film couples.
