Fashion month is over, and we’ve compiled the best emerging brands we’ve seen in the world’s fashion capitals.

February 2024: the emerging brands you need to know this month

It has been a very busy month of Fashion Weeks, and with it we have traveled to the various fashion capitals of the world to see what designers had prepared for this Fall/Winter 2024. In passing, we have been able to see some of the proposals of designers who are going strong and seem to be carving a path in this industry in which it is so difficult to stand out. Now that we have returned to Madrid to recap everything we have seen this frenetic month, let’s go with the 6 brands that we predict will become fashion standards in their respective capitals. Stay tuned to our 6 emerging brands February 2024!

1. TOLU COKER

Founded in 2021, and of British-Nigerian heritage, Tolu Coker has three fundamental pillars for its development: community, craftsmanship and culture. Her family’s history has inspired her purpose, which is to create luxury fashion that focuses on cultural preservation beyond market fashion trends.

In the London show, titled “Irapada,” which means “Redemption” in her parents’ language, the designer precisely generates a conversation around the traditions and spirituality of her ancestors. As if they were relics, her pieces tell the story of the Yoruba religion and encourage the preservation of their origins.

2. SF10G

This Berlin-based brand was founded in 2019 by Rosa Marga Dahl during her studies, and since its conception, for Rosa innovation and sustainability were the maxims of her creative process.

SF1OG has two specific product lines. The handcrafted pieces of the “101 line” contain almost only recycled products and are characterized by their experimental design. The second product line “multiplied line” offers the consumer ready-to-use pieces that are adapted for everyday use.

“Investing in handicrafts is investing in tangible creation; the boundary between creator and consumer can dissolve into a shared reality” – Rosa Marga Dahl.

3. JANE WADE

Based in New York, Jane Wade develops her collections by carefully bridging the gap between workwear and office attire. With careful consideration of every detail, garments are constructed from the inside out with quality techniques that offer a colorful narrative within the finishes themselves.

Through a fresh lens, the brand takes a playful yet considered approach to luxury with its use of color and visual proportion. Jane sees the purpose of the garments as multi-functional, designing segmental pieces that are tailored to the wearer’s intent.

4. SRVC

Founded in 2021, London-based brand SRVC (Service) offers a contemporary and visionary vision for today’s women. Their designs are at the service of feminine form and function, so by reconstructing and deconstructing pieces, they create a practical and multi-faceted closet.

Creatively led by Ricky Wesley Harriott, SRVC empowers with sleek and dynamic silhouettes that explore futuristic takes on traditional garment archetypes.

5. VAUTRAIT

After three years of military service and a year studying philosophy, Yonathan Carmel decided to dedicate himself to fashion, and in 2021 he founded his own brand, Vautrait. In just two seasons, he has conquered the fashion world and is now part of the list of semi-finalists of the LVMH Prize.

In his collection just presented in Paris, Yonathan seeks to reaffirm his brand identity. “Minimal and timeless, with these two words I would like to define my brand.” His goal through his designs is to give real meaning to these two words that are so hackneyed when talking about fashion collections. “The Vautrait product can be defined as something that goes beyond this temporality and needs to be renewed every so often to be better and more relevant.”

6. WINDOWSEN

We only needed one fashion show to see that Windowsen is all about color and eclecticism. The young brand founded by Chinese designer Sensen Lii in 2019, takes its name from the Windows operating system and the founder’s name.

In the Windowsen universe, expect to always see a fusion of colors with silhouettes that create a space fashion that could be perfectly tailored to an alien. A science fiction universe where everyone is more than invited.
