Felipe Pantone expands his OPTICHROMIE motif to a blanket

Meticulously crafted with the latest technology, the Optichromie 137 TB blanket is the latest release from Felipe Pantone. Within the intricate weave of yarns, dynamic abstract compositions emerge that create a dialogue between colours and patterns.

Experimentation with new techniques such as textiles pushes the boundaries of traditional artistic media adding a new dimension to the reading of Pantone’s work. As part of the Optichromies series, OP137 TB explores the dynamic interplay between perception and colour.

This series, known for its seamless integration of graffiti and painterly approaches, aims to highlight contrasts within the artwork. The meticulous process results in abstract compositions in which elements of black and white op-art coexist with vibrant and intense colours.

“OP137 TB represents a fusion of chromatic brilliance and optical charm”, according to the artist. “Within the intricate weave of threads, dynamic and pulsating abstract compositions emerge, creating a harmonious dialogue of colours and patterns.”

As an exclusive edition of 300 units, the blanket measures 137 x 183 cm (54″ x 72″) and is packaged inside a collector’s box, complete with certificate of authentication. You can get OP137 TB on 30 November at configurableart.com or through a raffle launched by the artist on Instagram.
