This first meeting is characterised by the innovative artistic engineering methods employed and the mixing of technical garments with elements of traditional sportswear.

Nike and Feng Cheng Wang are committed to the total deconstruction of clothing with the aim of reimagining basic sportswear as a highly functional blend of disparate cultural and design elements. This is the case with the Transform Jacket, which incorporates detachable components that allow for endless styling while promoting a more sustainable lifestyle.

Other outstanding pieces in the collection such as the corp top, the bra or the leggings refer to the importance of wellbeing in the day-to-day life of the Chinese creative.

“As a designer, my creative inspiration is often based on my personal experiences, my cultural upbringing and the influences of the people around me and, like Nike, my goal is to create more inclusive and sustainable products,” says Feng herself.

The collection will go on sale on 29 September through fengchenwang.com, SNKRS and selected Nike retail shops.
