The campaign takes place in an environment surrounded by the majestic masterpieces of the Renaissance such as “The Annunciation” by Alesso Baldovinetti, “Sacred Allegory” by Giovanni Bellini, “The Annunciation” by Paolo Veronese and “Joseph goes to prison” by Francesco Granacci, which merge with “Portrait of a man with a medal by Cosimo the Elder” and “The Annunciation of San Martino alla Scala” by Botticelli.
“The Renaissance is imbricated in Florence and Florence is imbricated in Ferragamo,” Davis shared in a statement. “At this time of new beginnings at the house, it made perfect sense to reclaim the cradle of the Renaissance as our spiritual home and tap into the deep artistic spirit of this city to showcase the new collection.”
In collaboration with the Uffizi Gallery, the museum that houses these works, Italian model Vittoria Ceretti stars in the scene and merges with the Renaissance art that surrounds her. Leather handbags and footwear take center stage in the campaign. Metallic dresses with artistic draping evoke Renaissance armor, while flowing white gowns create an ethereal atmosphere. Opulent animal print fur coats add a touch of decadence reminiscent of the wealth of the era.
