The “3% rule” (if you alter something by 3%, it becomes something new) popularised by the late Virgil Abloh, seems to have been appropriated by Ye. Since launching the YEEZY 450 in 2015 he has been tweaking them slightly and the latest example of this is his latest version in ‘Stone Teal’.
Confusing the YEEZY 450 “Stone Teal” silhouette with the previously released “Dark Slate” and “Utility Black” might be possible. In fact, we have attached the image with the three models for you to judge for yourself.
However, the “Stone Teal” offers a stone coloured Primeknit upper and a very slight blue-green tint on the heel. The unique pointed sole and sock-like collar complete the look of this sneaker.
The exact release date of the adidas YEEZY 450 “Stone Teal”, has not yet been revealed, however, it is likely to land this October.
