Rumours circulating on the Internet claim that the collaboration will celebrate the 35th anniversary of Nike’s Air Jordan 4-inspired model.
While we’re still excited about the release of the new Vandal High, Stüssy and Nike are already working on their next silhouette. As the images posted on social media reveal, the collaborative Air Flight 89 could arrive in three colourways and will combine animal print overlays with classic perforated leather overlays.
In terms of details, you can see the Stüssy SS interlocking motif and a large coloured swoosh on the outside centre, as well as the branding shared on the upper tongue area and the embroidered ‘NIKE AIR’ lettering on the heel. All of this sits on a two-tone sole with visible Air units.
An official release date has yet to be confirmed, but the Stüssy-intervened Nike Air Flight 89 is expected to arrive later this year. In the meantime… Why not take a look at Travis Scott’s new Nike Sharkidon?
