Foot Locker and Nike unveil the Air Max TN Lisboa, the latest edition in their series of releases inspired by Europe’s most influential communities. Following previous models dedicated to Saint-Denis, Brixton, Berlin, Marseille and Naples, this version pays tribute to Lisbon — a city where tradition and modernity coexist in perfect harmony.
With this release, Foot Locker and Nike celebrate the special connection between Lisbon’s streets and a silhouette that, 26 years on, remains a timeless icon.
The design of the TN Lisboa is deeply rooted in the city’s visual identity. Upper features a pattern inspired by traditional Portuguese tiles, while the sole incorporates a motif based on the calçada portuguesa, the iconic black-and-white stone pavement that defines the city centre. Nike logo on the tongue pays tribute to Lisbon’s historic motifs, and the word “Lisbon” appears proudly engraved between the laces as a symbol of local pride.
The campaign “Lisboa é nossa” (“Lisbon is ours”) accompanies this launch as a statement of identity. Through this initiative, Foot Locker and Nike celebrate the spirit of Lisbon’s people and highlight the community’s ability to reconnect with its cultural heritage and urban roots.
The project features local creators who represent the diversity and talent of the new Lisbon. Among them are rapper Julinho KSD, footballer Geovany Quenda, visual artist Confeere, independent rapper Yuri NR5, and DJ and stylist YNA, a member of the Dengo collective. Together, they embody the city’s contemporary energy and its constant dialogue between past and future.
The Nike Air Max TN Lisboa will be available from 9 October in Foot Locker stores in Lisbon, throughout Portugal, across Europe and online, priced at €199.99.
