LG Electronics is taking the trainer universe to the next level, introducing a ShoeCase version of its Styler, originally launched as a smart steam wardrobe that softens wrinkles and deodorises.
At first glance, the ShoeCase resembles stackable storage boxes from brands like IKEA. However, users will find high-end features designed to keep their slippers clean and fresh.
Lyu Jae-cheol, president of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company, said: “LG’s new Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare is ideal for hygienically cleaning, storing and displaying footwear. Utilising our latest technologies and offering convenient control and design, these innovative products are ideal for consumers looking for a better and more enjoyable way to manage their collection”.
The LG Electronics ShoeCase boxes come with TrueSteam technology and Zeo-Dry filters, which help remove moisture while eliminating odours. The functions are designed to clean shoes of various fabrics and materials, cleaning four pairs in 37 minutes.
There is no official launch date yet, but the LG Styler ShoeCase is currently on display in Hall 18 at IFA 2022.
