Last year, we noticed a noticeable increase in campaigns incorporating our furry friends, and it seems that the presence of pets in the fashion world is only growing. This season, House of Sunny’s new capsule takes that affection to the next level with a collection entirely inspired by ‘the unconditional love and loyalty of man’s best friends’. Once again, our obsession with animals is more present than ever.
The collection, entitled ‘For the Love of Dogs’, offers a line of knitwear from the brand’s most popular styles reinterpreted in new designs for our pets. Sunny Williams, creative director of House of Sunny, says: ‘This collection has a special sentimental value for us as a vegan brand, as it seeks to capture that purity and emotion that our beloved companion dogs bring to us’.
Within the capsule, there are three new designs of the classic Tripper cardigan, plus a knitted crew neck jumper called ‘Puppy’, a traditional print skirt and a series of doggy illustrated gift cards. To add a touch of charity, £5 – equivalent to 5.96 euros – from each sale will go to Battersea Dogs Home, one of the UK’s oldest and best-known animal rescue centres.
