Fox Racing inaugurates its innovation lab with a drop with Kiko Kostadinov

For the first installment of this Fox Racing’s new project, the brand starts with a high-level collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov, one of the most influential young designers of the moment.

This first 20-piece unisex drop is a tribute to the origins of Fox Racing, when the firm was known as Moto X Fox and revolutionized the motocross world with its technical innovations and private racing team. Kiko Kostadinov reinterprets that legacy, bringing a worn-out look, as if the garments had lived on the race track.

In addition to being pieces ready for any motorcycle enthusiast to wear, the influence of cinema is evident in each of them. Kostadinov has taken inspiration from Robert Altman’s cult film ‘3 Women’ (1977), in particular its desert landscapes and the psychedelic murals painted by Bodhi Wind reflected in the collection’s curvaceous construction and graphics. The star piece, the Super-Fox Jersey, features a psychedelic desert-inspired print.

To take the narrative beyond clothing, the campaign was created by Jacolby Satterwhite, a conceptual artist known for his work with virtual reality and digital animation. In his visual universe, the human essence is digitized and uploaded to a public domain, exploring a future where identity, technology and fashion merge without boundaries. The film shows a hybrid vehicle between machine and human, with seven brains installed in different parts, moving in a landscape without rules or gravity. A visual metaphor for the transgressive spirit of the collection and Fox Lab’s ambition to bridge the gap between the sports industry and fashion.

With this first chapter, Fox Lab aims to further consolidate the brand as a key player at the intersection between motocross and fashion. And its union in this first shoot with Kiko Kostadinov is just the beginning of what promises to be a series of collaborations with brands and creatives that will bring us even closer to the world of motocross. If the future of motocross is also the future of fashion, this collection makes it clear.
