A few years ago Victoria’s Secret acquired a minority stake in swimwear specialist Frankies Bikinis. Based in Los Angeles, California, in the seaside neighbourhood of Venice, the company has achieved recognition among the younger generation thanks to collections that are as striking as they are inclusive. Now, the pair are teaming up to launch a new brand with a fresh image by Barcelona-based creative agency Socis Club.
Inspired by the nostalgia of summer holidays and getaways, the new collection combines PINK’s signature silhouettes with a touch of Frankies Bikinis style. Among the pieces in this first launch are the Hudson Bikini, the Atlantic Bikiniy, the Golden Hour, the Marlowe One-piece and the Sailor Satin Dress in shades of pink, cherry red and black. The collection is accompanied by a campaign starring one of the girls of the moment, model and entrepreneur Devon Lee Carlson.
