The Winter 2024-2025 collection designed by Kim Jones mixes the reality of ready-to-wear with the theatricality of Haute Couture.
The Maison‘s latest campaign, captured by acclaimed photographer Alasdair McLellan, unveils new creations that reinterpret Dior‘s heritage. An ode to the art of ballet, which began with the fashion show held on 19 January at the École Militaire in Paris, where the creative director proposed this attractive play of dualities translated into looks imbued with a timeless elegance stirred by the extravagant spirit of Rudolf Noureev, one of the most celebrated dancers of the 20th century.
Recreating a dance studio, the stage recreated for the occasion showcases the collection’s designs where tailoring is reinvented with new cuts. The Bar jacket is transformed into a masculine iteration and joined with the Oblique suit; high socks are combined with wool shorts and ribbed knitwear; and footwear is inspired by those worn by dancers.
A sublime and hypnotic choreography that celebrates the magic of Haute Couture.
