Futura Laboratories’ abstract graffiti invades Dr. Martens 1460s

Futura Laboratories, the pioneer in abstract graffiti that has marked a before and after in the art industry, now leaves its mark on the most iconic Dr. Martens models.

The first piece in this collection features a design that pays homage to Futura‘s artistic roots. Made from Nappa leather, the 1460 EMB FUTURA boots are decorated with embroidery that represents the rebellious spirit of both brands. This monochrome version features black eyelets that contrast with the white lettering of Futura’s graffiti. In addition, as usual with Dr. Martens, they feature the iconic yellow heel-loop and a smoky sole.

 

The second silhouette in the collaboration is the 1460 FUTURA, made from matte olive green suede with an ankle strap embossed with the Futura Laboratories name. This model combines casual materials with a rugged design, blending the look of the 1460 boot with the technology of classic combat boots.

 

The collection will be available from 26 February at dr.martens.com and selected shops.
