The internet’s favourite muse stars in the brand’s new bridal campaign.
Under the title “The Rules of Engagement”, Gabbriette poses dressed as a bride in the year of her own wedding to Matty Healy, lead singer of the band The 1975. A love story that combines rock stars, style and, of course, plenty of rebellion.
Far from the traditional dream bride, the protagonist embodies a modern woman who prioritises personal expression over convention. What is proposed here is a contemporary, free, daring, fun romance… reflected in every look and every gesture. The name of the campaign itself refers to Gabbriette‘s seven wedding principles, a kind of ironic guide to breaking with the rules of protocol. These include maxims such as ‘a pair of shoes is never enough’ and more profound reminders such as ‘it’s about love and looking beautiful, but above all it’s about love’.
Photographed by Mark Kean and styled by Vanessa Coyle, the images exude strength and femininity, while showcasing the new pieces in this season’s bridal collection. We find heels, sparkles, textures and endless details to walk down the aisle with absolute empowerment.
