Galerie Dior inaugurates an unprecedented exhibition celebrating the power of women artists

From 24 November until 13 May 2024, 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris will host this special project.

A journey presenting Dior‘s collaborations with female artists throughout its exciting history. From Christian Dior to Maria Grazia Chiuri, the scenographic narrative highlights the founding links between the Maison and creation in all its forms. Even before he had sketched his first designs, Monsieur Dior had an unconditional passion for art. He first became a gallery owner, a period in which he forged sincere friendships that would last a lifetime, before becoming a couturier and being able to invoke music, literature, painting and architecture in his collections.

All these links are now brought together in this introspective journey through which the spectator is immersed in the universes of some of the most emblematic female personalities in history, such as Lillian Bassman, Elina Chauvet, Judy Chicago, Maya Goded, Constance Guisset, Sarah Moon and Shourouk Rhaiem, among many others.

There will also be very special reinterpretations of Lady Dior signed by the creators of the eight editions of Dior Lady Art, unveiled in the Chambre Aux Merveilles, a sort of revisited cabinet of curiosities.
