GANNI and 66°NORTH are once again collaborating on a collection that combines Copenhagen’s signature style and Icelandic heritage.
Following the success of the first two collaborations, creative director, Ditte Reffstrup of GANNI, teams up again with the 66°NORTH team to create new functional pieces that maintain a balance with 66°NORTH’s strong heritage and outdoor culture. The pieces are made exclusively from recycled materials such as nylon and polyester.
Inspired by Iceland’s beautiful landscapes, such as the Northern Lights and the volcanic landscape, the latest GANNI x 66°NORTH collection includes trousers, a waistcoat, a fisherman’s hat and two neoshell jackets. The collection’s colour palette ranges from yellow and green to a turquoise blue and red tone mixed with blacks, beige and greys.
The entire GANNI x 66°North collaboration is produced in 66°North’s own factories in Latvia, Europe. The brand works with high quality fabric manufacturers to offer the most innovative and versatile materials, with some products taking up to 8 hours to make by hand. This collaboration is no exception, featuring pieces made with Polartec® NeoShell®, a waterproof and highly breathable fabric.
The pieces were first revealed on GANNI’s SS23 runway and are available at 66NORTH.COM, 66°NORTH shops, GANNI.COM, GANNI shops and selected retailers.
