The aim is to extend the life cycle of garments and reinforce their commitment to sustainability.
Responsible fashion continues to gain ground with a new way of reselling the Danish brand’s products through the second-hand platform. Once the items have been verified and accepted, sellers receive a GANNI gift card without having to wait for the garment to be sold. In addition, the brand offers an extra 10% credit, thus encouraging participation in the circular economy.
With this partnership, GANNI becomes the thirteenth brand to join Vestiaire Collective‘s “Resale as a Service” programme, a pioneering initiative launched in 2021 that connects brands with certified resale models. It’s a win-win situation for everyone: brands offer their customers a sustainable alternative, encourage loyalty and maintain the value of their items in circulation.
“At Vestiaire Collective, we give every piece the second life it deserves. The goal of our new strategic partnership with GANNI is to democratise and empower our communities to make it even easier to embrace circular fashion. GANNI and Vestiaire Collective share common values when it comes to innovation, positive impact and the appeal of fashion, and together we can change the future of fashion.” – Sophie Hersan, co-founder and fashion director at Vestiaire Collective.
