The US firm has officially sued the artist formerly known as Kanye West for $2 million over his failed collaboration with YEEZY Gap.
Kanye West, also known as ‘Ye’, continues to make enemies as time goes by due to his racist and anti-Semitic statements and outbursts. His words did not go unnoticed among the brands he collaborated with. First the partnership with adidas fell through and now it is the turn of GAP. But not only that, they are now locked in a legal battle that will take time.
GAP is suing the artist, rapper and fashion designer, with whom they previously had a collaboration contract, for a total of two million euros. Considering this, Ye would be paying for the image damages he may suffer in another court fight they are facing and which was born, precisely, from their association with him. The information was picked up by the news portal TMZ.
adidas will sell some of the remaining Yeezy stock and donate the proceeds.
