Timothée Chalamet’s A Complete Unknown awards tour has been a success, with his looks and ability to blend modernity with cultural heritage standing out. One of the most memorable moments on the red carpet was when Chalamet, in his signature style, paid tribute to Bob Dylan. On one of the most important dates, the actor dazzled in a look from the new GapStudio line, designed by Zac Posen.
The actor attended the 97th Annual Academy Awards Nominees Dinner in Los Angeles, wearing a custom GapStudio look. With an air of casual elegance, he wore a satin Icon Satin jacket, black Satin ‘90s Loose Pant jeans and a classic GapStudio black silk jersey T-shirt. The ensemble was completed with a Trinity necklace and a Les Berlingots de Cartier ring.
Zac Posen, the designer behind it, emphasised the deep cultural connection of the look: ‘This outfit goes beyond fashion. It is a symbol of heritage, legacy and cultural evolution. In the 1960s, Bob Dylan released his anthem with ‘Like a Rolling Stone’, and in 1969, Gap began selling jeans and records in its first shop, two key moments that united and defined generations. The parallels, energy and synergy between these events inspired me to reimagine this look for Timothée, a cultural icon.’
The set, which reflects a unique fusion of fashion, music and history, is now available in limited quantities online.
