Get into the surrealism of Eastpak and MM6 Maison Margiela

After the success of their first collection “Reverse Mode” for FW21, MM6 Maison Margiela and Eastpak are collaborating again and launching a second capsule with surrealist overtones.

 

The highlight of the Spring/Summer 2022 collection is the new dripping version of Eastpak’s‘ Padded Pak’r. The right half of the backpack is more elongated, creating an optical illusion that the bag is melting. In addition, the Eastpack logo also arrives deformed, producing a distinctive liquid effect as if sucked into a space hoover.

The geometric MM6 bag also returns with a new addition: an extra zipped pocket. The triangular canvas tote features a leather handle and the MM6 and Eastpack labels. The collection is rounded out by an expanded version of the Eastpak Crew wallet that transforms into a small shoulder bag with a detachable shoulder strap.

 

The MM6 Maison Margiela x Eastpak SS22 capsule will be available in MM6 and Eastpak boutiques, online, as well as selected multi-brand shops from 29 April.
