A cast of eccentric characters star in the Italian brand’s ‘The Houseguests’ campaign.
Under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, the artistic collaboration of Christopher Simmonds and through the lens of Frank Le Bon, Diesel‘s latest proposal presents us with a group of guests who redefine what it means to be extravagant and free. Digging into the archives and taking cues from the SS94 campaign, the creative director takes his imagery to the next level and proposes a series of absurd and surprising scenarios where fashion and surrealism merge as never before.
In an atmosphere clearly defined by the unexpected, Diesel shows his guests in situations that break with any established norm: cars driving around the living room, an unusual birthday banquet or a waxing session in the middle of the kitchen.
At the same time, the sex-positive essence of the brand remains intact, provoking freedom of expression and authenticity in every frame, proposing clothing as a form of personal liberation. This season’s new pieces stand out, such as jackets that fan the flame of motorcore, trompe l’oeil lingerie and Double D bags, among others.
