«Gritaré como una bestia» is the title of the exhibition that brings together 10 artists at the Monkey Garage and lasts only two days, from 22 to 23 April.
Saturday 22 April sees the opening of “Gritaré como una bestia”, a party-exhibition curated by Lydia Garvín and Marco Prieto, directors of the art collective Espacio Proa, at the Sala Monkey Gallery (Santa Brígida, 11). This exhibition event combines music, projections and lots of fun.
The exhibition brings together the work of 10 artists who have worked on this occasion on a common theme, “The Divine Comedy” by the 14th century Florentine writer Dante Alighieri. The exhibition is conceived as an immersive experience, called “Expofarra” by the curators of the event
In it, the pictorial work, the music and the projections are mixed to make the public enjoy; an authentic celebration of art that promotes a new form of exhibition, where the inauguration becomes a party and is an attraction in itself, at the same level as the artistic work itself.
The 10 artists invited to participate in its 4th edition are: Jose Luis Serzo, Kepa Garraza, Esther García Urquijo, Zony Gómez, Dafne Artigot, GVILLE, María Alcaide, María Cañas, Ariadna Chez and Pamen Pereira. Music: Alberto Granados Visuals: Elvira Zurita.
The festival/exhibition will open its doors on Saturday 22nd from 18:00 to 23:00. On Sunday the exhibition will open its doors under the name of “Resaca” from 12:00 to 20:00, concluding the exhibition event.
