Gucci has just launched Gucci Mx, the first non-binary collection to explore the fluidity of genre. Beginning with A/W 2020, this new line designed by Alessandro Michele himself will present pieces each season that are pro-diversity without being genre-specific.
For the occasion, Gucci has counted on Angelo Panetta (@angelopanetta) to capture the collection’s imagery. The key piece in Gucci Mx is the iconic 1961 Jackie bag, a big hit in the sixties and seventies. Thus, the campaign also features a wide range of new season garments. Among the highlights are a bright metallic green bell-bottoms and a 70s doilie blouse.
The set of selected pieces is already available at Gucci’s website. It’s time to stop labeling. Up with the tab and up with the gender fluid!
