Since his debut at the head of the Italian house, Michele has made a certain overabundance and eccentricity in Gucci, along with exceptional creativity, fantasy, richness and a beautiful execution. And the pre-fall of 2019 was no less.
The new Gucci collection, at first glance, is presented as a reinterpretation of previous seasons, with a stratified look; ornamental opulence, with enchanting starry skies embroidered and city views, all soaked in a sense of controlled disorder in the combination of various elements in a single look.
While some of the stylisms continue to exude the dramatic and cinematic attitude deeply associated with Michele’s reign, a less extravagant atmosphere is also instilled in the tweed, synthetic fur coats that are combined with floral dresses and luxury sweatshirts embroidered with the logo of a fictional Gucci tennis club.
