The past and the present collide in the House’s latest proposal, inspired by the stylistic rebelliousness of the 70s.
With a thoroughly contemporary execution, the Pre-Fall 2025 collection reinterprets Gucci‘s iconic codes and projects them into the future. A tribute to creative freedom that is reflected in every garment and accessory.
Tailoring, the undisputed protagonist, breaks away from traditional conventions to draw new lines that oscillate between sensuality and comfort. In women’s silhouettes, structured jackets coexist with masculine trousers, while details – leather scarves, trompe-l’œil fabrics – elevate the narrative into unexpected territory. On the men’s side, oversized proportions and relaxed cuts defy any notion of rigidity: wide blazers, fluid trousers and twill shirts.
The reinterpretation of the iconic Flora motif, whose unexpected twist takes over some accessories, is one of the most exciting highlights. Its appearance on degraded scarves and garments with equestrian details fuses the House‘s heritage with a radically modern aesthetic.
Outerwear makes a statement of intent: Monogram GG shearling, textured leather jackets and finishes that evoke the feel of shaved velvet redefine casual luxury. Here, Italian craftsmanship shines through in every detail, from geometric inlays to impeccable interior linings.
In terms of accessories, the Jackie 1961 is elevated with unexpected materials such as suede combined with Web stripe, while the Blondie incorporates shearling to fuse elegance and comfort. The new Softbit proposal, with its relaxed, minimalist design, modernises the Horsebit with a functional twist. Footwear also claims its moment: chunky loafers for women and men’s versions that include removable details such as the penny or studded finishes.
Gucci’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection is not content to reinterpret the past: it expands and reimagines it with a sensibility that combines craftsmanship and experimentation.
